O’SULLIVAN    DUNLAP    STUDIO

Both the “California ” and “Square ” Series are porcelain paper  clay with the exception of six initial pieces, which are stoneware.  The “Square” wall sculptures are available for $2000.    The “California” table sculptures are  $200 each.

Each sculpture in these series are singular and unique works of art.  No two are ever the same. The Sculptures require multiple firings to achieve their final appearance.  After an initial firings,  many pieces are  re-fired in an electric kiln above 2300 ° F. to enhance the glazes before a final pit  or  Raku firing.  This process  creates amazing random effects  unique  to each piece  of  sculpture.

The “California” Series porcelain table sculptures are a delicate reflection on a recent trip “home” to the Golden State. Although they are concave in shape, they are not intended for consumables. The Sculptures  are made to be displayed either horizontally or vertically on a small display stand.

The “Square” Series” porcelain wall sculptures are made to  look like they “float” off the wall and are surprisingly light for their size. They are  ready to hang with all  hardware included.
